Acclaimed gourmet hot dog, sausage & burger concept expands to Wyoming

Cheyenne, WY.; Dec. 11, 2019 – Dog Haus, the craft casual concept known for its gourmet hot dogs, handcrafted sausages, Black Angus beef burgers, one-of-a-kind fried chicken sandwich and local craft beers, has announced it will open a new location in Cheyenne, WY in early 2020.

 

Located at 3838 Atkin St. in the new Pershing Marketplace, Dog Haus Biergarten Cheyenne – owned and operated by Goalz Restaurant Group – will be the brand’s first built-to-suit location. The 3,314-square-foot custom designed restaurant will feature a 905-square-foot dog-friendly patio, plus a full bar with 24 beers on tap, emphasizing local craft favorites, and will serve the brand’s signature Haus Cocktails – handcrafted by Phil Wills, as seen on Bar Rescue.

 

Franchisee Shawn Eby, restaurant veteran and founder of Goalz Restaurant Group, is no stranger to Cheyenne. Currently the company owns and operates the new Church’s Chicken on 2815 Ridge Road and all four Wyoming Applebee’s restaurants.

 

Shawn and his wife Brittany, a native of Cheyenne, are excited to bring Dog Haus to the capitol of Wyoming. In fact, Shawn had Dog Haus in mind when he founded Goalz in 2017. Now that Dog Haus Biergarten Cheyenne’s opening is imminent, he and Brittany see a bright future for the brand in the state.

The craft casual concept, designed to elevate the hot dog and burger-eating experience, will serve its acclaimed chef-driven menu within the contemporary aesthetic of a modern industrial space. After ordering at the counter, diners will be able to grab a seat at the communal tables, take a bench seat at one of the reclaimed wood and steel tables or step outside to the welcoming patio.

Dog Haus’ full menu includes gourmet dogs, sausages, burgers, a one-of-a-kind fried chicken sandwich, sides, premium shakes as well as an innovative bar program that includes beer, wine, Haus Micheladas and a new mixologist-created cocktail menu offering a variety of delicious, one-of-a-kind concoctions.

 

Haus Dog creations feature signature all beef dogs with unique toppings served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls. Fan favorites include the Sooo Cali, with wild arugula, avocado, tomato, crispy onions and spicy basil aioli, and the Reservoir Hog, featuring a Polish kielbasa, Haus chili, Haus slaw and yellow mustard. Haus Burgers are made with 100% genetically tested, humanely raised Black Angus beef using no hormones and no antibiotics in one-of-a-kind creations like The Freiburger®, with white American cheese, fries, Haus slaw, fried egg and mayo, and the Holy Aioli, with white American cheese, smoked bacon, caramelized onions and garlic aioli. All sausages and dogs are free of added nitrates and nitrites and made with hormone- and antibiotic-free meat.
